Our final show of 2022!

We were back for our final show of 2022 with a brand new show Bill Lois and the Big Book.

Bill Wilson is sober. He`s holding meetings in his own home for the first few drunks trying to recover in New York City. The newly sober group have big ideas, but eventually focus on writing a book. A book that will carry a message of hope to the hopeless alcoholics from Alaska to New Mexico and, eventually, the world.

His wife Lois, is working and coming home to she knows not how many drunks, expecting to be fed and looked after. She has some help though, as some of the wives of these hopeless cases begin to gather in her kitchen.

This is the story of the early members of Alcoholics Anonymous and Al-Anon as they struggle with alcoholism and an uncertain recovery, while writing the book that was to give a name to the fledgling organisation. The book, Alcoholics Anonymous, affectionately known as The Big Book.
